Wet n' Wild Fergie Glitter Polish Swatches

Wet n' Wild teamed up with Fergie (Black Eyed Peas) and Walgreens for exclusive polishes. Here are all but two of the glitter polishes from the collection. Apparently these aren't at all Walgreen's and the one's that do have them have the mini displays or the full 25 polish display. Two out of the 4 Walgreens I went to had them...so these are pretty hard to come by!

First one is called Dutchess.

Dutchess over black.

This is a blue glitter in clear base with small purple hex glitter.

This is called Glamorous.

Glamorous over black.

Glamorous is medium gold hex glitter with smaller gold hex glitter.

This one is already a fan favorite. It's called Hollywood Walk of Fame.

It's a mix of multi-colored stars. No tacos or fishing!

This one is New Years Kiss.

This has very fine silver glitter with short teal bar and silver bar glitter.

This one is called Rock n' Roll.

It has very fine charcoal glitter with small silver hex glitter.

This is Rock n' Roll over black.

This is called Take The Stage. This is over black.

Take The Stage is a fuschia glitter with medium silver hex glitter.

This is called Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night.

Which one's are your favorites? Will you try and track these down for your collection?

  2. Hello,

I have bought the Hollywood Walk of Fame as well as Mermaid curves and Tonight's Gonna Be A Good Night, and I must say the one with the stars is not as great to me as I thought it would be. I feel that the stars are too big and because of that when you run the brush over your nail it get all clumped up with stars. So, unless you have the time to take your brush and strategically move the stars from one place to another spreading them out, it can be inconvenient. If they had made this product with smaller stars they probably would spread better. It was cool however to find something like this right in time for the 4th of July holiday even though as evidenced by your detailed photos, there are more colors than just red, white and blue.I also wanted to comment real quick on the Tonights Gonna Be A Good Night, I was really excited to find this one because up until now, I personally have never seen a black polish with gold glitter - except for that Sally Hansen Salon Effects nail polish stickers. What I liked the most about this polish was the fact that it is in a clear base and the black is comprised of tiny black glitters. This allows you to customize how dark or light / compacted or spread out you may want it to be. Now as far as the Mermaid Curves. Beautiful, just beautiful. It is in the blue liquid and then has that blue and green glitter so it refects different hues from different angles (Almost a peacock looking green blue color of sorts) but you can also have some fun with it. At the time, I had some hot pink nail polish on and swatched it right on top and the background color turned to a purple and the green and blue glitters sat on top of it and it looked pretty cool! I am willing to bet that is we tried it over black it would have a very spaced out, galactic look to it! I look forward to seeing what other have to say in their experiences with this product !

Have a nice day to all !

    1. Thanks for your thoughts on the polish! I like Hollywood Walk of Fame because the stars are big! LOL To me you don't have to use as much polish. I'll have to keep my eye out for Mermaid Curves!

  4. Thank you for posting these swatches! I bought some of the stars the other day wondering what they would look like. I think I will put mine on top of some darker blue polish, but they look great on their own, too! I think I will pick up a few more of the colors!

  5. Mines are matte finish and little strands of hair like get stuck :( I was excited but I don't no. What if that's how it should be worn I've burly just started getting into doing my nails.

    1. You should try using a good thick top coat like Seche Vite over glitter to prevent the glitter from causing issues like your hair getting stuck.

  6. I bought Tonight's Gonna Be a Good Night. I used it a couple of days ago with about three coats over Revlon base coat.
I liked how it looked on my nails, BUT what I really did NOT like was how hard it was to take off.
I took it off last night -
I spent over forty minutes scrubbing my nails with polish remover which did almost nothing, wound up filing the surfaces of my nails with a filing block, then using nail polish remover some more, rubbing with the filing block again and using yet more nail polish remover and I am now wearing opaque nail polish because I still have about 20% of it stuck to my nails that simply WOULD NOT come off no matter how hard I tried.

Unless there is some trick to putting it on or taking it off that I do not know, I don't think I am going to wear this much, if at all ever again.

    1. Try using the foil method with glitter polishes. You soak cotton balls with acetone (which is best for this method) and place them on each nail and cover the nail with foil. Leave on for 5 minutes or so and take off. People swear by this method for hard to remove glitter polishes.

    3. You're welcome! Glitter polishes are fun to wear but are a pain sometimes to take off...but are so worth wearing because they are so pretty!
